Four 2nd Region athletes, including one from Christian County High School, were recently recognized by state high school athletic officials. The four were recipients of awards presented by the Kentucky Athletic Administrators Association during the awards program at their annual state convention.
The following 2nd Region student-athletes were honored:
Ty Wheeler—Madisonville-North Hopkins – 2023 KAAA Paul Young Male Athlete of the Year.
Tom Leach—All Resilient Team
LaJuan McAdoon—Madisonville-North Hopkins
Alex Parks—Livingston Central
Ashton Smith—Christian County
