Caldwell County and Henderson County split a pair of tight matches on Monday at the CCHS courts in Princeton.
Caldwell’s guys defeated Henderson 4-3 while Caldwell’s girls fell by that same 4-3 score.
In the boys’ match, the Tigers took three of the five singles matches to pull out the win.

Ryan Hammett (CC) defeated Mason Bridgeman 6-2, 6-1;
Jaxton Duncan (HC) def. Nick Adams 8-4;
Grayden Miller (CC) def. Carson Weiss 8-4;
Cannon Littlejohn (CC) def. Caden Jenkins 8-3;
Carson Troxel (HC) def. Noah Bailey 8-0.
In doubles:
Miller/Adams (CC) def. Braden Dhom/Landon Hurtte 8-2;
Thomas Berger/Alton Berger (HC) def. Cannon Littlejohn/Cason Littlejohn 8-1.
In the girls’ match, Henderson took three of four singles contests to capture the team win.

Ella Johnson (CC) def. Brennan Marsh 8-4;
Courtney Troxel (HC) def. Meleah Greenfield 9-8 (7-2);

Caldwell’s tennis teams will visit Christian County on Tuesday.
