Trigg County High School has named Jason Hite as its next girls’ soccer coach.

Hite was an assistant coach for the Lady Wildcats last year and has two daughters on the varsity team.

“Jason has experience coaching for Evolution Performance and the Clarksville Soccer Club. He has led these teams to multiple championships including the 2021 Tennessee state championship,” Trigg County High Athletic Director Matt Wilder said.

Trigg County won a school-record 16 games in 2022 for Sean Miller, who stepped down earlier this year after three years at the helm. Three seniors graduated from the team, and the program has good numbers at the middle school level.

After winning just 71 games in the first 11 years of the girls’ soccer program, Trigg County has won 89 over the past nine seasons.
