It was a nice way for the Todd County Central Lady Rebels to celebrate Senior Night. Abby McPherson threw a one-hit shutout and the Lady Rebels scored in every inning but one on their way to a 11-0 win over the University Heights Academy Lady Blazers in Elkton.
Todd Central scored all the runs they would need in the bottom of the first. Abby McPherson, Karli Herrera, and Addison Woodall, all had RBIs in the inning. A sac fly in the third extended the lead to 4-0.
The Lady Rebels broke the game open with four more runs in the bottom of the fourth to make it 8-0. Todd Central then ended the game with three runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Addison Woodall finished the game 3-3 for the Lady Rebels with two RBIS, and a run scored. Abby McPherson was 2-3 with an RBI. Naomi Gammon was also 2-3 with an RBI.
McPherson went five innings in the circle, giving just the one hit, striking out six and walking one.
For UHA, Mallory Ladd had the only hit of the game.
