Emma Dill’s Top 10 Finishes Lead Lady Blazer Effort at Apollo

A trio of Top 10 finishes in one of the area’s top late-season track & field meets led the effort from the University Heights Academy Lady Blazers Saturday at the Apollo Invitational. The Lady Blazers as a team finished in 16th place for the day.

Warren East won the girls’ meet with 91 points. Henderson County was a close second with 88.

Emma Dill had the top effort of the day with a 3rd place finish in the girls’ 300m hurdles. Dill finished the race with a time of 52.17.

Other Top 10 finishes for the Lady Blazers on the day were:

Emma Dill – 7th place – 100m hurdles

Girls 4×200 meter relay – 8th place (Acree/Dill/Oatts/Grise)
