Tennessee was rumored to be interested in trading up in the NFL draft to take Kentucky quarterback with a top five pick. Instead, the Titans didn’t make a move, waited and took Levis with the second pick in the second round.

So far it sounds like the Titans have liked everything about Levis after his initial workouts with the team.

“He’s got a good release, a quick release,” Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Tim Kelly said. “Very smart. He’s done a good job being able to come in, and we’ve thrown a lot at him early on.

“And like any rookie, he’s learning how to be a pro and there’s different challenges that go along with that, but Will’s done a good job of being able to put in the time, put in the work and do things the way we want him to.”

Levis currently is the third quarterback behind veteran Ryan Tannehill and backup Malik Willis going into the preseason workouts.
