The pairings are set for the two doubles entries from Hopkinsville High School at this week’s girls’ state tennis tournament. Play in the event gets underway Tuesday morning in Lexington.
Allie Fort and Ella Lester, who were one of the sixteen doubles entries to be seeded for the tournament, are pitted against the duo of Reagan Hayes and Isabella Mayhorn, from Ashland Blazer.
Fort and Lester will play at 11:30am Tuesday.
For region semifinalists Morgan Woosley and Ella Brown, the opening round presents a match against the duo of Addison Cox and Jordyn Lasslo, from Hazard. According to the ratings on Universal Tennis, the Hopkinsville duo is the higher-rated of the two teams.
Woosley and Brown will play at 10:15am Tuesday.
Winners in the opening round will play their second-round match later in the day Tuesday.
