Two Lady Falcon Relay Teams Medal at State Meet

The Fort Campbell girls’ track and field team had two relay teams reach the medal podium Thursday at the Clark’s Pump and Shop Class 1A State Meet in Lexington.

The 400-meter relay team of Lillianah DeWitt, Savannah Ziegler, Natalie Winters, and Jerni Hicks finished in sixth place in a season-best 51.83 seconds.

The 800-meter relay team of Lillianah DeWitt, Savannah Ziegler, Zyaziah Langley, and Natalie Winters also reached the medal podium with a seventh-place finish in 1:50.41, equaling a season-best time.

Also competing at the state meet –

Jerni Hicks was 13th in the 100-meter dash in 13.31 seconds.

Lillianah DeWitt was 13th in the 200-meter dash in 27.66.

Natalie Winters was 13th in the pole vault at seven feet.

Meg Lubas finished 16th in the 1600-meter run in 5:49.15 and was 17th in the 800 meters in 2:35.09.

Camryn Webster finished 20th in the 400-meter run in 1:05.27. She also finished 17th in the long jump at 14 feet, 4 inches.

Jerni Hicks and Rosella Rajj tied for 21st place in the high jump, each with a height of 4 feet 6 inches.

The 3200-meter relay team of Meg Lubas, Thea McDonald, Sophia McDonald, and Ava Roberts finished in 19th place in 11:44.43.

As a team, Fort Campbell finished in 25th place with five points.
