Kentucky fell to Indiana in front of an electric, record-breaking crowd on Saturday evening by a score of 5-3. The Wildcats had a 3-1 lead in the seventh inning, but Indiana scored three in the same inning to take a 4-3 advantage and score one more run in the eighth to ice the game. For the most part, Kentucky pitcher Zach Lee threw an incredible game by holding Indiana scoreless for a stretch of 6.2 innings. But Indiana’s big-power offense was too much for Kentucky to hold off in the loss.

The Wildcats will face West Virginia in a must-win game today at Noon ET. If Kentucky can pull out a win, they’ll advance to Game 6 which will be played at 6 PM ET. There, the Wildcats would have an opportunity to beat Indiana and force a Game 7 on Monday for the right to advance. But it all starts with their first game today against West Virginia, which you can watch on ESPNU.
