In the spring, Carson Powell won the KCAA State Golf Tournament at Western Hills in Hopkinsville.
Fast forward to the late summer fall and the Heritage Christian Academy junior is cutting his teeth in KHSAA competition for the Warriors.
Earlier this week, Powell became the first HCA golfer to compete in a KHSAA golf tournament at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club. Right now, he’s a one-man show for the HCA golf team but still has goals he would like to attain with the All A Region Golf Tournament right around the corner.
