A Thursday night road trip to Owensboro did not work out as well as the Todd County Central Lady Rebels would have liked. The Lady Rebels saw their two-match winning streak come to an end as the Apollo E-Gals took a straight-set win on their home court.
Apollo opened the match by cruising through the first set 25-10. The Lady Rebels fought back in the second set, but it would be Apollo in the end taking the set 25-16 to go up two sets to none.
The third set was the best set of the night for Todd County Central Rebels as they pushed the E-Gals to the very end, but again it was Apollo who would pull out the set and close out the match with a 25-21 win.
The Lady Rebels drop to 4-2 with the loss. They return to Owensboro on Saturday for matches against Owensboro Catholic and Whitesville Trinity.
