Fort Campbell 7th grader Emmie Underwood continues to be one of the dominant runners in this area in girls’ cross country. Underwood picked up another first place finish Saturday at the McCracken County Invitational.
Underwood finished her race in a time of 19:43.33. That time was just over eight seconds faster than second-place finisher Mayci Moore, of Webster County. Addison Lyles, of Marshall County, was the third-place finisher.
As a team, the Lady Falcons took third place for the day with 98 points. Graves County won the meet with 59 points. Calloway County was close behind in second place with 65 points.
