The Tiger Wrestling Club’s K through second grade girls claimed the team championship of the Memphis Top 100 Wrestling Tournament on Saturday.
Jayde McIntosh and Claudia Ferguson were individual champions with Ferguson becoming the second Tiger this season to bring home Most Outstanding Wrestler for the division.
The Tiger Wrestling Club also had one runner-up, Una Ferguson, and one third-place finisher, Freya Bruce. Rylee Bonnell placed fifth.
“We will travel to Cleveland, Tennessee, in two weeks to complete the sweep, hopefully,” said Tiger Wrestling Club coach Bryan Bonnell. “I am beyond proud of all of these young ladies. They are turning heads and making Caldwell County proud.”
