Victoria Joiner had 14 points and 12 rebounds while Aubrey Leahy also tallied 14 points as Livingston Central defeated Caldwell County 49-41 in girls’ basketball action Monday night in Smithland.
Livingston (10-9) led 24-18 at halftime, but saw Caldwell (7-18) come back to tie things 35-35 after three quarters.
But the Lady Cardinals outscored the Lady Tigers 14-6 in the final period to nab the win.
Emersyn Ramage added seven points and 11 rebounds for Livingston.
Caldwell was led by Tink Clark’s 11 points. Med Thomas had 10.
The Lady Tigers are right back in action Tuesday night at Paducah Tilghman.
Livingston’s girls next host Hopkins County Central on Friday.
