T.J. Goodwin is a three-sport athlete at Caldwell County. Goodwin, a senior, is a member of the Caldwell track team, the Lady Tiger volleyball team and, this winter, was part of Caldwell’s first-ever girls’ wrestling team.
In college, Goodwin will take on a fourth sport — flag football.
Goodwin signed Tuesday at the Fine Arts Theatre at Caldwell County to play women’s flag football at Campbellsville University.
Campbellsville head coach Chris Kidwell was in town for the signing.
The Campbellsville Lady Tigers played their inaugural season of flag football in the spring of 2023 and are currently in the midst of their second season. The team is 3-3 this season after going 5-14 last year.
At Caldwell, Goodwin was a member of the Lady Tigers’ 7th District volleyball championship last fall and qualified for the wrestling tournament in February with a third-place showing in the regional tournament.
