An 11-run first inning sent Todd County Central well on its way to a 15-0 win over Kenwood in three innings on Wednesday.
The Rebels (2-2) got base hits from nine different players while outhitting the Clarksville school 11-2.
Meanwhile, senior right-handed pitcher Zack Robinson struck out five and allowed just the two hits while throwing the shutout for Todd Central.
The Rebels sent 15 men to the plate in the bottom of the first inning. Four walks, a hit batter and an error aided Todd in the frame.
Peyton Ortiz doubled home two runs in the inning. George Cumbee, Devin Schutt, Grady Reding, Conner Wheeler and Hayden Strader all had RBI hits in the frame as well.
The Rebels then scored four more runs in the home half of the third inning to end the game early on the mercy rule.
Robinson and Strader had run-scoring singles in the third. Another run scored on an error. Then Aaron Mansfield doubled home the final run of the game to finish off the victory over the Knights.
Ortiz finished 2-for-2 at the plate with a pair of doubles and two RBIs. Strader was 2-for-2, drove in two and scored twice.
Todd County Central will host another Clarksville school on Thursday when it entertains the Kirkwood Cobras.
