There have not been many times over recent years where the Christian County Lady Colonels were completely shut down. Enter Logan County’s Addison Cartas. Cartas threw a five-inning no-hitter as the Lady Cougars rolled to a 10-0 win Thursday evening in Russellville.
The Lady Colonels only had one runner reach base, that coming on a walk, with that runner then thrown out on a steal attempt. That resulted in Cartas facing the absolute minimum number of Christian County batters in the win.
Meanwhile, Logan County pounded out 15 hits and scored in four of their five at-bats.
With the loss, the Christian County Lady Colonels drop to 19-13-1. They wrap up the regular season Saturday at the Meade County Showcase.
