Hopkinsville senior Lucas Kaetzel seems intent on ending his high school baseball career with a bang. After clearing the bases with a grand slam in the Tigers’ 2nd-Region tourney opener, Kaetzel followed that up with a three-run shot on Tuesday to highlight an 8-2 semifinal victory over Union County.
Afterward, Kaetzel talked about his postseason power surge and looked ahead to Wednesday’s region title game.
