Livingston Central’s Talon Sanchez set a pair of school records and took home a medal from Thursday’s Clark’s Pump N Shop Class 1A State Track and Field Meet at the University of Kentucky.
The sophomore finished in fourth place in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.43 seconds, breaking his school record in the event by .38 seconds.
He also came in 11th place in the 300-meter hurdles in 42.22 seconds, clipping .41 seconds off his own school record time.
It’s the second straight year Sanchez has medaled at the state meet. He finished eighth last year.
