Caldwell County had a thrower and relay team named to the All-State Track Team by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Sophomore Cooper Mobley, who owns the school record in the shot put, threw the round weight 50 feet, 5 inches to finish in third place at the Class 2A State Track and Field Meet in Lexington earlier this month to earn Second Team honors.

The 800-meter relay team of Luke Maddox, Tre Copeland, Max Heaton, and Shane Farrow finished in fourth place at the state meet with a time of 1:31.63. They set the school record at the region meet and missed another record mark by .21 seconds. They also earned Second Team All-State honors.
