The University Heights Academy 400-meter relay team was named First Team All-State by the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Griffin McCoy teamed with Harlow Hampton, Ryan Luckey, and Clayton Lester to finish as state runner-up in the 400-meter relay at the Class 1A State Track and Field Meet.
Beechwood edged the Blazers by .42 seconds. UHA missed the school record set at the region meet by .09 seconds.
