Lyon County’s golfers traveled to Providence on Monday but suffered a five-shot setback to Webster County in a dual match.
Webster shot a team score of 174, aided by medalist Cade McCully’s 40 in the nine-hole match at Providence Country Club.
Micah Austin shot a 42 and Evan Davis 45 for the victors.
For Lyon, Cooper Collins, Carson Collins and Colton Gobin each carded rounds of 44 as the Lyons totaled a score of 179.
Other Lyon scores saw Jonah Ramey, Cohen Wiggins and Drew Richie each shoot 47 while Jimmy Cowan had a 49 and Issac Defew 50.
The Lyons will play at home Tuesday when they host Graves County at The Cullan at Mineral Mound State Park.
