
Heritage Christian Academy’s young cross country team brought home a 10th-place finish at Saturday’s Christian County Season Opener.
The Warriors feature four freshmen, an eighth grader, and a seventh grader along with senior Josh Farmer.
Cadyn Travis was HCA’s first runner across the finish line in 38th place. He completed the 3.1-mile course in 21:30.
Levi Johnson was 45th in 22:00 followed by Aaron Hensley in 51st place (22:14).
Farmer was 105th in 26:05 with seventh grader Ben Hensley 109th in 26:54 followed by Ryan Goforth in 127th (30:10) and Kollin Stokes 137th in 36:06.
University Heights Academy’s Cole Glover won the race in 17:20.
The Warriors fielded a full team and finished in 10th place with 273 points, seven points out of ninth place.
