Madisonville-North Hopkins rallied for a 7th District volleyball victory over Caldwell County Thursday night.
The visiting Lady Tigers held a two sets to one lead and bolted out to a 10-1 lead in the fourth set.
However, the Lady Maroons regrouped and came back to capture that set, then went on to claim the match in five sets.
Scores were 13‑25, 25‑22, 18‑25, 25‑22, 15‑11.
Leah Moody had nine kills, 16 digs and three aces to help lead Madisonville while Mackenzie Stoltz had six kills, two digs and an ace.
The Lady Maroons also got three kills, a block, eight digs and 16 assists from Keira Williams. Myla Hughes had four kills.
Morgan Buntin had two kills and a dig. Sadie Kirk had a kill, one dig and one ace. Brooklyn Basham and Sydney Skeen each had one kill.
Katie Beth Sutton and Mashyla McAdoo each had six digs. Avery Rudd added two aces and two digs. Carlee Sandidge had three digs.
For Caldwell, Brylee Butts recorded eight kills and a dig while Rylee Thompson had five kills, five digs and three aces.
Benashka Thomas had five kills and a block. Medeline Thomas had three kills and a dig.
Kylee White totaled 31 assists, three digs and four aces. Mycah Riddle had 15 digs, a kill and an assist.
Chevy McGowan had two kills and two digs while Morgan Aikins totaled a kill, two digs and an ace.
Anna Giltz added seven digs and two aces. Maddie Cooper had two aces and a dig.
The Lady Maroons are 3-6 overall and 1-0 in the district.
The Lady Tigers are now 7-5 and 1-1.
Madisonville will next go to Christian County on Tuesday.
Next up for Caldwell’s girls is a trip to Crittenden County on Tuesday.
