The Todd County Central Lady Rebels will have to wait for another night to end ‘that streak’ against the Logan County Lady Cougars on the volleyball court. Logan County opened strong and never looked back rolling to a straight-set win Tuesday night in Elkton.
The Lady Cougars took the opening set 25-11. An even stronger effort in the second set saw Logan County win the set 25-7 and go up two sets to none in the match.
Logan County then closed out the sweep with a 25-18 win in the third set.
Aubri Penick led Todd County Central with three kills. Callie Chapman added two more.
Shelby Holderman was the top setter for the Lady Rebels finishing with five assists over the three sets.
Todd County Central is now 15-12 for the season. They are off until October 17 when they will host Muhlenberg County.
