Maroons Erupt in 2nd Half for 9-1 Win at Ohio County

Madisonville-North Hopkins led just 1-0 at halftime, but then erupted offensively in the second half to post a 9-1 triumph at Ohio County on Monday.

Logan Terry had two goals and two assists while Eli Redpath added two goals for the Maroons, who are now 12-6-1 with two matches left in the regular season.

Maddox Schneider, Aidan Night and Nelson Menjivar-Villalobos each had a goal and an assist.

Nash Tapp and Brighton Mier had one goal each for Madisonville.

Dru Lile had a pair of assists while Dom Blanford and Shawn Marsh each had one assist.

Jaden Sandria scored the Eagles’ lone goal on a penalty kick.

Ohio County is 8-8-1.

The Maroons will finish the regular season with a pair of homes contests, facing Owensboro Apollo on Tuesday and North Hardin on Thursday.
