Madisonville-North Hopkins had little trouble capturing its 13th straight district championship this week, beating Caldwell County 8-0 in the 7th District final.
Senior Eli Redpath had a hat trick in that contest, with the middle goal being the 100th of his career. Only three Maroons have reached that point.
But Redpath says the Maroons have much bigger postseason plans, and Madisonville is among the favorites for next week’s 2nd Region tournament at the Stadium of Champions in Hopkinsville.
