The athletic teams across the area are not just exceptional when they are on the court or on the field. Many of these teams and their outstanding young people are involved in many different ways in giving back to their school community and their community at large.
Those are the teams that are at the top of the list, or an ‘A-Team’ so to say. In this case, the Chick-fil-A ‘A-Team’. Teams that exhibit great core values like accountability, growth, respect to others, quality, and service.
Such is the case with the cheerleading squad at Hopkinsville High School. The cheerleaders were recently among those students involved in the first-ever “The Power of One CCHS and HHS Trick or Treat” event.
“The Power of One” trick-or-treat event of course featured candy and fun. It was done in a spirit of unity and community service, which makes these young ladies, and the others who took part, especially worthy of being recognized for giving of their time and their efforts for this cause.
The Hopkinsville High School cheerleading squad, on the court, or the field, and off, is certainly a great example of a Chick-fil-A ‘A-Team.’
