Kyndal Hubbard lost virtually her entire senior soccer season at Lyon County to an injury.
But her career on the soccer field is hardly over.
Hubbard signed to play soccer at the University of the Cumberlands on Wednesday during a ceremony in front of friends, family and teammates in the Media Center at Lyon County High School.
Hubbard started for three years at Lyon County and would have certainly been a key contributor this year before an ACL injury sidelined her for all but one kick on Senior Night.
The future is bright, though, as Hubbard joins a Cumberlands program that is currently 15-0 and ranked first in the nation in the NAIA Coaching Poll heading into postseason play.
University of the Cumberlands is located in Williamsburg, Ky.
The Patriots compete in the Mid-South Conference.
