Playing shorthanded due to some illness issues, the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm took to the road Tuesday night for their first preseason action. The Lady Storm made the trip to Logan County for a scrimmage against the Lady Cougars.
The Lady Storm tied two quarters and lost two close quarters in the varsity action for the night. The score was reset at the end of each quarter.
Hopkins County Central and Logan County each scored 9 points in the opening quarter. Logan County nipped the Lady Storm 7-5 in the second quarter.
The third quarter was another close one with the Lady Cougars outscoring the Lady Storm 12-11. The two teams then played another even quarter in the fourth with each team scoring 10 points.
Calajia Mason led the Lady Storm for the night with 15 points. Addie Menser added 7. Macy Cotton and Kenzleigh Harrison had five points each.
Brenley Adler led Logan County with 12 points.
