No. 8 Kentucky basketball had their worst shooting performance of the season on Tuesday night but still managed to defeat the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, 87-68.
The Wildcats played relatively good defense – especially on the three-point line (allowing WKU to make only 15%) – and pulled away in the second half to seal their sixth victory to start the year.
Kentucky has a quick return to the court on Friday night when they host Georgia State at Rupp Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 PM ET with coverage on the SEC Network.
