Lyon County put up its highest point total of the season on homecoming night in Eddyville.

Lyon, now 18-6, ran out to a 34-11 lead early in the second quarter before the Panthers regrouped and tried to get back in.

Dawson (14-11) outscored Lyon 22-8 during one point in the second period to get as close as 42-33.

The Panthers held a 31-27 advantage in that frame, but Lyon still held a 56-42 lead at the break.

The second half was all Lyon, with the leading ballooning to 85-56 through three quarters.

Lyon hit the 35-point margin for a running clock midway through the fourth quarter.
