
The Community Christian Academy Warriors got past the Fort Campbell Falcons 51-44 Thursday night in a hard-fought contest. The Warriors’ prowess from three-point range proved to be the deciding factor.
Community Christian connected on 7 of 17 attempts from beyond the arc, while Fort Campbell struggled, making only 2 of their 17 three-point shots.
The game began as a defensive struggle, with the Falcons holding a narrow 7-6 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Warriors found their rhythm in the second quarter, outscoring Fort Campbell 12-10 to take an 18-17 lead into halftime.
Community Christian maintained their momentum after the break, extending their lead to 32-27 by the end of the third quarter. They continued to outpace the Falcons in the final period, securing the 51-44 victory.
Israel Dillard led the Falcons in scoring with 18 points, while Tyreek Anthony contributed 14. For the Warriors, Ahmed Dee led the charge with 17 points.
With the loss, Fort Campbell’s record falls to 3-21 on the season. They will look to bounce back when they travel to Fort Knox Saturday afternoon.
