Another strong season at Crittenden County has earned head coach Shannon Hodge another honor.
Hodge has been named the 2nd Region Basketball Coaches Association 2024-25 Girls Coach of the Year.
She was presented her award following the championship game of the regional tournament Saturday night at Christian County High School in Hopkinsville.
Hodge’s Lady Rockets made it all the way to the title game before falling to Henderson County.
Crittenden won the 2nd Region All A Classic championship in 2025 and was a semifinalist at the State All A Classic in Owensboro.
The Lady Rockets finished the campaign with a 23-8 record.
The Crittenden skipper was earlier voted the 2nd Region Girls’ Coach of the Year by Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches members from across the state.
Hodge is in her 32nd season as Crittenden head coach and has won 430 games in her career — second most in region history behind Henderson County’s Jeff Haile.
