
Christian County took eighth place at the Girls Region 1 Archery Tournament on Saturday at Trigg County.
Alianna Bailey led the Lady Colonels with a score of 268, slotting her in 40th place. Azlynn Doan shot a 261 to finish in 57th place, and Dakeyiah Catlett shot a 260 to finish in 59th place.
Caylin Berman (258) finished in 63rd place, followed by Arebelle Triplett (258) in 65th place; Karma Moore (257) in 70th place; Athena Jettinghoff (256) in 73rd place; Raegan Harris (251) in 85th place; Savanna Peterson (250) in 86th place; Hadassah Elkins (248) in 89th place; Audrina Croney (246) in 93rd place; and Natalia Filidei (212) in 110th place.
Christian County’s score of 1,818 was 33 points behind seventh-place Murray and 28 more than ninth-place Union County.
Unlike NASP tournaments where the top 12 scores of both and girls go toward a team score, the KHSAA takes the top seven scores of each gender to determine the boys’ and girls’ team and individual champion.
