Tember Oliver outdueled Lilly Perry in the circle, and Trigg County put up crooked numbers in the third and fifth innings on its way to a 5-1 win over Lyon County in the 5th District semifinals on Monday.

The win moves the Lady Wildcats into the championship game for the second straight season, where they will get a title rematch with Livingston Central, a 4-2 winner over Crittenden County in the other semifinal.

Oliver scattered six hits, including Courtney Collins’ third home run of the season, and struck out six. She didn’t walk a batter in improving to 19-9.

Perry only allowed five Trigg hits with a pair of strikeouts and four earned runs on her stat line.

Trigg County got on the scoreboard in the second inning with a pair of walks and a misplayed fly ball off the bat of Oliver.

Trigg struck for two more runs in the third inning when Kady Fuller singled home Livia Breckel (single) and Lily Eagleson (HBP).

The Lady Wildcats added two more runs in the fifth inning when Breckel doubled home a run and scored on an Eagleson single.

Breckel was the only batter with multiple hits in the game.

Lyon County (13-15) graduates one player – Perry – from its 2025 roster.

Trigg County (21-13) has put together back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time in program history – both fast pitch and slow pitch.

The Lady Wildcats will meet Livingston Central in Tuesday’s 6:00 p.m. championship, looking to win the school’s first fast pitch district title.
