The bracket has been revealed for the Lexington Regional of The Basketball Tournament set for July 18-22 at Memorial Coliseum.
La Familia, a team composed of University of Kentucky alumni Ansley Almonor, Kahlil Whitney, Aaron Harrison, Andrew Harrison, Willie Cauley-Stein, Archie Goodwin, Doron Lamb and DeAndre Liggins, will be the No. 1 seed in the Lexington Regional.
The team’s organizer is Twany Beckham and coached by former Kentucky standout Sean Woods.
La Familia will take on Stroh’s Squad at 8 p.m. on July 18. The four winners will meet at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, while the regional final will be at 6 p.m. on July 22.
“We have one more player committed who is not a UK player, but he has ties to coach Sean Woods, and he will be announced soon,” Beckham said. “We are looking forward to adding one to two more players, just waiting on a few guys and their schedules.”
