The Trigg County Lady Wildcats put up a battle but ended up with their first loss of the season Thursday night. The Lady Wildcats dropped a 4-1 road decision at Henderson County.
The contest was the first of the season for the Lady Colonels, who had their season opener on Tuesday night at Hopkins County Central canceled due to storms in the Hopkins County area.
The win for Henderson County moves the Lady Colonels to 5-0 all time in the series against Trigg County.
The Lady Wildcats (2-1) are set to return to action Monday when they host Webster County.
