The Heritage Christian Academy Warriors went into their game against PACHEK looking to snap their losing streak. That is exactly what they were able to do, and they did so in commanding fashion with a final score of 76-35.
Heritage Christian started the game out on a 15-2 run, which allowed them to take a big lead of 25-10 going into the second. And the next period was more of the same with the Warriors getting all the way past 40 points and going up 42-25 going into the locker room at half.
The third quarter was also huge for HCA, as they were able to put up 22 right out of the halftime break. That, combined with 12 in the fourth and final quarter allowed the Warriors to close out the game and get their fourth win of the season.
HCA’s leading scorer in the game was Cameron Oesch with 18 points, and he was also able to get it done on the glass with 15 rebounds. Noah Arvin also got into double-digits with 14 points, while Aaron Hensley and Jason Morgan each finished with 10.
They will all be looking to help the team start a win streak as the year expires in their next game against the Panthers of Dawson Springs on Thursday, February 19. This will be the final game of the regular season for the Warriors, and will be played at Dawson Springs High School at 7:30 p.m.
