The Todd County Central Lady Rebels continued their road trip to the Sunshine state with a game against Crestview. Unfortunately, they still have just one win on the trip after a 7-1 loss on Wednesday.
Crestview scored five unanswered runs in the bottom of the third and fourth innings, which put them in the driver’s seat in the game. Todd County Central’s Naomi Welborn then hit a double that scored Maddison Wade all the way from first base.
That may have been just the team’s first run of the game, but it ended up being their only one, as their hits didn’t lead to the scoring they would have wanted.
Todd Central finished the game with the same amount of hits as Crestview with 10, and Welborn led the way with three base knocks. Addison Woodall and Naomi Gammon also both made an impact with two hits apiece.
The Lady Rebels will play their final game of the Florida road trip against Escambia on Friday, April 10.
