Trigg County High School has named McKenzi Travis as the next varsity cheerleading coach for the school, which made the announcement on social media on Monday.
Travis has cheered for 15 years at Bluegrass Cheerleading and Heritage Christian Academy where she graduated in 2023.
She has spent the past three years cheering for Murray State University and will earn her degree in accounting next month.
Travis assisted the Trigg cheer squads with tumbling at the high school and middle school level this past season.
Trigg County won a KHSAA region championship this past season and earned a bid to UCA Nationals where they were a finalist for the first time in school history.
