Todd County Central bats were limited to just four hits Thursday night as the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats picked up their second win of the week over the Rebels with a 7-0 win in Elkton.
The loss was the fifth straight for the Rebels in the past two weeks with four of those losses coming in district play against the Wildcats and Logan County.
Franklin-Simpson got a complete game from pitcher Jordan Brandon, who struck out eight and walked none in picking up the win.
The Wildcats got all the runs they would need with a pair in the first inning. They added two more in the third and then sealed the deal with three more in the top of the fifth.
For the Rebels, Lane Thomas and Camden McGehee were each 2-3 in the game.
Ty Jolly got the start on the mound and went five innings, giving up seven runs, six of them earned, on eight hits, striking out one and walking two.
