A solid performance on the mound Monday night for Ty Jolly as Todd County Central picked up a 4-0 win over Russellville.
Jolly kept Russellville off balance all evening, allowing just one hit and never letting a scoring opportunity take shape.
Todd County Central set the tone early. In the first inning, Jolly helped his own cause with a single that brought in two runs. That early push gave the Rebels room to settle in. An inning later, Jacob Jackson added to the lead with a groundout that made it 3-0.
At the plate, Jolly and Conner Wheeler each collected two hits for Todd County Central, helping maintain pressure on the Russellville defense.
The two teams are scheduled to meet again Tuesday, this time at Russellville, where both sides will look to adjust and respond.
