Last season’s 2nd Region ‘Player of the Year’ has made the decision on where he will continue his athletic and educational career. Lyon County grad Bray Kirk announced late Monday afternoon that he would be attending Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee.
Kirk averaged 21.3 points per game last season and helped lead the Lyons to the All A Classic state championship and their 4th 2nd Region championship in the past five seasons.
As a junior, Kirk helped the Lyons reach the All A state championship game, where the Lyons fell to Danville Christian. He averaged 22.1 points per game.
During his sophomore season, Kirk averaged just under ten points per game and was an integral part of the Lyons making their historic run to the state championship.
Cumberland University is an NAIA school and a member of the Mid-South Conference.
