Toree McMain, who helped turn around Trigg County’s softball program, has been named the head coach at Calloway County High School.

They set a school record for wins in the fast-pitch era with 17 in 2016, which included a win over Crittenden County in the district tournament and their first trip to the region tournament.

The 2018 team established another school record for wins with 22 and made another trip to the region tournament.

McMain’s five-year record at Trigg County was 82-81.

In between her head coaching stints, McMain was an assistant coach at Marshall County.

She takes over for Jeri Kramer, who was 15-33 in two seasons. The Lady Lakers were 10-12 in 2026 and finished as Fourth District runner-up. McMain played for Calloway County from 2004-09 and later at Murray State University.
