The newly formed Christian County Tigers boys golf team was back on the road Friday. The Tigers were at Ben Hawes in Owensboro taking part in the Daviess County Invitational.
The Tigers finished their day with a team score of 349, placing them 13th in the competitive event.
McCracken County won the team title with a team score of 292. Madisonville-North Hopkins was second at 298. Owensboro Catholic was close behind with a 299.
Jackson Crick led the Christian County crew with a round of 79, putting him in a tie for 26th place.
Madisonville’s Jake Witherspoon shot a sizzling round of 65 to take medalist honors. Collin Reynolds, of Daviess County, was second with a 68. Lemuel Wright, of Breckinridge County, took third place with a 71.
