
With the start of the regular season now less than a week away, the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm came out with a solid scrimmage effort Tuesday night on their home pitch. The Lady Storm got a big night from Emma Vandiver and took the scrimmage win over Grayson County.
The Lady Storm took a 4-0 lead at the half with the two teams agreeing not to track score in the second half of the contest.
Central got three goals from Emma Vandiver. Avery Adams scored a goal and added an assist. Kaylee Rice and Mattie Loyd had one assist each.
Gabby Brasher came up with three saves in goal for the Lady Storm.
Hopkins County Central will play its final preseason scrimmage Thursday night at 6:30 against South Warren.
