Paducah Tilghman broke open a tight match with five second half goals as the Blue Tornado made the trip to Elkton and handed the Todd County Central Rebels their first loss of the season, 7-1.
It was a tale of two halves for the Rebels. It was back and forth from the start with Tilghman converting a penalty kick about 8 minutes in to take a 1-0 lead.
After missing some good looks, the Rebels tied things up when John Ross Cardwell broke free up the line and scored unassisted to tie the match at 1-1.
Tilghman converted a free kick with about 10 minutes to go in the half and that would send the Blue Tornado to the break with a 2-1 lead.

Coming out of the break it was all Tilghman as the Blue Tornado scored twice in the first five minutes of the half to make it 4-1. Tilghman would go on to add three more goals from there to get to the final 7-1 margin.
John Mark Campbell ended up with six saves in goal for the Rebels on the night.
Todd County Central (4-1) goes on the road Tuesday night to take on Logan County.
