Hopkins County Central had three runners compete Saturday in the girls’ race at the Madisonville Classic.
Jenna Fairchild led the Lady Storm, finishing 57th overall with a time of 29:41.
Maria Kerby was next for Hopkins County Central, placing 62nd in 31:20. Keona Durocher rounded out the Lady Storm contingent with a 70th-place finish in 39:05.
Fort Campbell’s Linden Pickler won the individual championship in 19:25. Webster County’s Paisley Stone was second in 20:05, followed by Ohio County’s Lexi Hill in 20:37. Trigg County’s Veyda Grinols placed fourth in 20:48, and Fort Campbell’s Liliana Ketterl rounded out the top five in 20:49.
With only three runners in the race, Hopkins County Central did not record a team score.
Meanwhile, Hopkins County Central had two runners compete in the boys’ race.
Judd Frazier led the Storm with a 61st-place finish, covering the course in 23:34.
Nolan Ray was Hopkins County Central’s other runner, finishing 73rd overall in 25:59.
