Trigg County had three runners compete Saturday in the boys’ race at the Madisonville Classic, with two Wildcats finishing among the top 12.
Dekon Perry led Trigg County with an 11th-place finish, covering the 3.1-mile course in 18:51.
Grady Oliphant finished one spot behind Perry, placing 12th overall in 19:01.
Grant Gallogly rounded out Trigg County’s group with a 20th-place finish in 20:04.
Union County’s Thomas Davis won the individual championship in 16:06. Webster County’s Landon Higdon was second in 16:46, followed by Madisonville-North Hopkins’ Kaleb Dunkley in 17:24.
With only three runners in the race, Trigg County did not record a team score.
